The White Sands Buddhist Center in Mims, Florida was an interesting place to visit. I was reading "The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World" and I wanted to stop and see this place. It wasn't hard to talk my husband into stopping because it has a huge reclining Buddha. Our month long journey had him wanting to stop to get his picture taken with what I call unusual things.
