I discovered this waterfall in 2002. I had taken control of where we were going that year while we were in Slovenia for two weeks. We stayed with friends for two weeks traveling around southern Slovenia. We left and went to Milan to pick up a car because we were going to live in Italy for four months. My husband was going to teach there. We drove around Italy and Austria for a week and on our way back to the house in Topolc I drove off the main highway when I saw the sign for this waterfall. That year we climbed up to the top and walked behind it. This year I just looked at it from afar and remembered when I could climb anything and thought of my daughter and how excited she was to do this 23 years ago.
